What is the Global Fast Track (GFT)?
Global Fast Track 2025 is a flexible, hybrid programme involving 1-2-1 meetings, a pitching competition, and consultations with government, regulators and mentors to develop your market entry and growth strategy.

Who can apply?
For matchmaking, we welcome all companies with existing solutions that fit our featured tracks for 2025. For the Global Fast Track Pitching, companies must:
 
  • Have at least US$250,000 in annual recurring revenue or have secured the same amount in investment.
  • Be considering expansion into Asia as part of their next 24-month roadmap.

What are the benefits for me (Startup) to apply?
You will enjoy access to 120+ investors and corporates, business matchmaking, potential pitching opportunities in Hong Kong, networking opportunities, marketing exposure, and much more.
4.
What if the areas my company focuses on are not listed in the bullet points of the category above?
While specific categories are listed as examples, the programme is open to all innovative solutions. If your focus area isn't explicitly listed, you can still apply if your solution aligns with broader themes.
5.
How does the Global Fast Track help me to expand into Asia?
Global Fast Track supports companies' expansion into Asia via Hong Kong by providing connections and networking with a broad group of investors and corporates and access to InvestHK’s supportive global network.
Application Process

Is there an application fee?
No, there is no application fee for the Global Fast Track participants.
2.
How do I know if I’ve registered successfully for GFT 2025?
You should receive a confirmation email or notification after submitting your application.
3.
Can I change my details after registering for the competition?
Please contact the programme organisers if you need to make changes to your application.
4.
What documents or information do I need to provide during the application process?
Companies should have an existing product or solution and be able to demonstrate some traction in their home market, be that through acquired customers/clients, revenue generated, or investment received. More detailed supporting information may be required during the application process.
5.
What is the deadline for applications?
The deadline for application is 21st September 2025.
Meetings and Mentorship
1.
Who are the Corporate, Investor, and Service Champions?
  • Corporates are from a range of sectors, who look for technology to improve their business and actively engage with scaling innovative companies.
  • Investors are coming from a range of venture capitalists to family offices, each with diverse portfolios and investment criteria. Seeking new investment opportunities.
  • Service Champions provide services and infrastructure to support companies’ growth in the region. They can offer support and advice to help startup’s business aims in Hong Kong and Asia.

What kind of mentorship is available?
Mentorship includes guidance from industry experts, GFT alumni, feedback on business strategies, and networking opportunities

How are 1-2-1 meetings organized?
The 1-2-1 matchmaking programme welcomes qualified applicants worldwide, regardless of pitching competition involvement. Matches will align with Champions’ specific solution needs. We screen applicants and recommend compatible companies to Champions. Participating companies can also express an interest in Champions, who can choose to act on those expressions of interest accordingly. Meeting frequency depends on business priorities, with no guaranteed minimum.
Programme Support and Judging

What are the judging criteria?
The judging criteria include market opportunity, problem/solution, team/founder, traction/funding, competitive advantage, and AI implementation/ strategy.

What is the format of the pitching competition?
Semi-finalists pitch in person at Hong Kong FinTech Week x StartmeupHK Festival 2025, with a Grand Finale on 4th November 2025.
3.
When do I need to prepare for the pitching competition?
Prepare to provide further information about your company once selected as a semi-finalist in September.
Progression and Communication

When and how will I get information for further action?
Updates and notifications will be sent via email or through the programme's social media.

What should I do if my startup is selected to progress to the next phase?
Check your email regularly as updates will be sent via email. Follow the instructions provided by the programme organisers, which may include preparing for the pitch competition, providing additional information, or attending networking events.
3.
How can I stay updated on important dates and announcements?
